EQ-i 2.0 | EQ360 Certification

EQ-i 2.0 certification helps you use EQ effectively and increases your own effectiveness with others. By participating in an EQ-i 2.0 certification, you will develop a solid foundation of the scientific concepts behind this inventory and you will be trained in the interpretation and feedback of EQ-i 2.0. You will be able to administer assessments and provide coaching. Additionally, you can use your new skills for curriculum development and training.

Coaches, consultants, HR and L&D professionals, educators, and leaders — as well as law enforcement and police departments, healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and psychologists, active-duty military, transitioning veterans, and government employees — who want to use the EQ-i 2.0 in their own practice or organization.

How it Works

Assess & debrief. You take the EQ-i 2.0 before class and receive a 1-hour coaching session, so you experience the tool as your clients will and deepen your own learning.
Train. We meet for two days, in person or via Zoom, to learn the EQ-i 2.0 / EQ 360 in depth, practice giving feedback, and rehearse a real coaching session.
Certify. You complete a multiple-choice exam. On passing, you receive access to your MHS Talent Portal.

Format: Instructor-led, live via Zoom
Private option: Can't make a scheduled date? Book a 1:1 private certification for $2,200.

Note: The EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 are Level B psychometric instruments and require a one-on-one review with a certified individual.

This certification carries continuing-education credit from major professional bodies:

ICF — 17 CCE hours (11.25 Core Competency + 5.75 Resource Development)
SHRM — 19.5 Professional Development Credits (SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP)

Do I need a background in psychology to get certified?

No. The EQ-i 2.0 is built for professionals across many fields — coaching, HR and L&D, education, leadership, healthcare, law enforcement, the military, and government. I teach the science you need from the ground up.

What happens if I don't pass the exam?

MHS will notify me and I will reach out to you. We will review the questions you missed and then I will reopen the exam for you to take again.

How long do I keep access to the portal?

Portal access doesn't expire. You may need to regain access to your portal if significant time has passed. MHS can help you recover your account.

What's your reschedule or refund policy?

Full refund if you cancel before I've sent your assessment link or mailed your training materials.
Partial refund once your assessment link has been sent and/or your materials have been mailed ($150): the assessment and materials are non-refundable, since they can't be returned or reused — but the rest of your tuition (the live training) is still refundable up to the cutoff below.
No refunds within 7 days of your certification start date, for any portion. However, you can transfer your paid tuition to another session.

Do you offer group rates?

Yes. I offer group rates for higher education institutions. Reach out and we'll discuss a package that fits your team's size and goals.

Is in-person certification available?

All scheduled cohorts run live via Zoom. For participants in the Maryland/DC region, I can also deliver the certification in person — email me to arrange it.
