I'm Carrie Arnold, founder of EQsential and a certified EQ-i 2.0 practitioner, Master Trainer, and national training partner of Multi-Health Systems, Inc. I help individuals, leaders, and organizations put emotional intelligence to work through EQ-i 2.0 certification, coaching, and workshops — the human skills that matter most in the age of AI.
A decade of putting EQ to work
This year marks EQsential's 10th anniversary — more than a decade of helping people and organizations turn emotional intelligence into real, measurable results. With 15+ years across secondary and higher education and deep experience in organizational development, I've seen firsthand how emotional intelligence sets people apart in performance, leadership, and well-being.
I don't treat emotional intelligence as a "nice to have." I treat it as an essential capability — one that drives genuine personal and professional growth. I design and deliver results-driven coaching, certification, and training that turn insight into action: strengthening leadership, improving team dynamics, building resilience, and nurturing cultures where people thrive.
Why this matters more now
As AI takes on more of our technical and routine work, the skills that set us apart are the distinctly human ones: empathy, self-awareness, adaptability, and the ability to connect, lead, and build trust. Emotional intelligence isn't being replaced by AI — it's becoming the very thing that makes us irreplaceable.
