I like the freedom of being able to tailor this course specifically to professionals like you. Over the course of 6 weeks, you will learn to become a better presenter by practicing your speaking skills, learning to manage anxiety when speaking in front of others, building better presentations, and learning the differences between types of speeches.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) are terms we hear daily. However, what does it all mean? Why do some support it and others not? What kind of reactions do we have when we think of DEI? Spend 2 hours with me and learn about what DEI is, ways to implement effective DEI training in your organization, and understand the emotional implications behind our perceptions of the topic.
Increase your understanding of emotional intelligence and its role in effective leadership. This full day workshop will enable you to identify specific areas in your own EQ-i 2.0 Leadership Reports and build an action plan to work on areas to develop further and leverage strengths.
Most leadership training is stale, sterile, and dare I say it, conformist. I see so many types of leadership training, from well-known "gurus", to those trying to edge their way into the leadership PD realm. Despite newer developments in leadership development that are more human (encompassing all elements of leadership...communication, biology, neuroscience, anthropology, psychology, etc.), there are individuals out there continuing to peddle in semantics, old theories, charisma, buzz words, and exorbitant fees. I continue to stumble upon leadership training steeped in command and control practices and not that they would admit it, still encouraging models that favor profits over people. The latter is death to all innovation. As a result of this, I have decided to launch a new workshop series called Unorthodox. These aren't your average leadership workshops.
Anything (or anyone) can cause resentment. Our fuses are shorter and we are quick to react because we feel we are personally being attacked. If you can understand WHY you feel you are being personally attacked, then you can begin to understand the thoughts behind those feelings. Put your claws down, kitty!
We develop leadership training based on outdated academic theories or we use the latest and greatest buzz words in business circles. Let's drown out the bulls*t and get to work! Human leadership is leadership for the 21st century and it involves biology, anthropology, neuroscience, and emotional intelligence.
You know how you can help yourself and those around you? Take the EQ-i 2.0! In this webinar, we will collectively dissect the EQ-i 2.0 Workplace Report. You will take the assessment and I will provide a one-hour debrief PRIOR to this webinar. And simmer down...there's nothing to fear...except an hour with me.
We all need to be self-compassionate.We can develop skills that help us deal better with situations and people. This webinar isn't therapy, but we will journey through understanding the correlation between feelings--thoughts--behaviors. Instead of acting on your emotions and ending up on an episode of America's Most Wanted, be less of a twatwaffle by learning to manage your emotions.
One of the hallmarks of emotional intelligence is the ability to be empathetic. There have always been a@@holes in our lives, but it seems the pandemic has unearthed a plethora. Instead of reaching through your computer screen to slap your co-worker, learn how to manage that passion (e.g., rage) into something more useful...empathy.
